Oh, no ~ a video??

You look through various websites and what do you see?  Videos!  Impressive videos at that!  Does it make you think that maybe you should do one?  Does that compare with running out into the traffic at 5:00 rush hour? 

I had that same feeling of dread, too.  I had done a 2 hour CD with not one edit, so I thought, “This will be a piece of cake!”  NOT! At first I was like a deer in the headlights ~~ heck, I wouldn’t have even hired me! 

The second ‘take’ was a bit better but I still needed less spray starch!  Then my videographer, Deborah Seeney, said “Lorraine, just have fun with it!”  And that was the ticket to success.  I just let go and spoke just like I would normally speak to a person standing in front of me.  I let go of the fact that I  was staring at a camera capturing my every facial movement and hand gesture.  It was at that moment that the video became a reality and ultimately an important part of my website. 

Deborah, of Get Seen was so easy to work with and so helpful in calming my nerves and making it so much fun for me.  So if you are thinking of adding a video to promote your business on your website or on youtube, make sure you have it done by someone who can help you make sense of it in a fun way!
